What is SSO (Single Sign-On)?

Single Sign-On lets users gain access to several systems by logging in once. Below you can read how it works and when it is handy.

In short

Single Sign-On (SSO) lets users gain access to several systems or portals by logging in once. Via standards such as SAML or OpenID Connect, you connect the portal to an existing identity provider, so users do not need a separate password.

Log in once

With Single Sign-On (SSO), a user logs in once and then has access to several applications or portals, without entering a password again each time. The login is handled by a central identity provider, via standards such as SAML or OpenID Connect.

For the user it is convenience: fewer passwords to remember. For the organisation it is more secure and more manageable: you arrange access centrally, and when someone leaves, you close all doors at once.

SSO in a portal

For a customer or employee portal, we connect the portal to an existing identity provider, such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or Google. Users then log in with their trusted account, without a separate password for the portal.

How we help you with this.

From concept to a working solution. This is what connects to it.

Custom portals
