On the work floor an employee scans a carrier and instantly sees the associated documents on their phone: from inbound and receipt document to certificate, customs document, CMR and packing slip. No searching through folders, no retyping order numbers.

Starting point
Finding the right document for a pallet took a detour.
In a cold store operation, a lot revolves around quickly retrieving the right documents for a physical pallet or carrier. A need arose for a simple way to jump, right on the work floor, from a carrier to the associated inbound or receipt document.
Previously, an employee had to look up a carrier or order number by hand in the system or in a folder structure with archived PDFs. You had to know under which customer, period and order a document was stored, and it worked poorly from the work floor. As a result, finding it often went via a detour and was error-prone.

It is precisely the coherence that gets an employee from a physical pallet to the associated document in a single scan.
Automatic tracing
Based on the carrier, the Scanner looks up the receipt, shipment or VAL order lines in Business Central via OData. Step by step the system traces from carrier to batch to document, and to the right customer and period, including an adjacent period.
The document straight from the archive
Whether it is an inbound or receipt document, certificate, customs document, CMR or packing slip: the associated PDF lives in a central document archive in the cloud and is fetched and shown directly. If there are several documents, the user picks from a list. If nothing is found, a clear message follows.
