Data was scattered and information was often outdated by the time it was shared.
MolCargo needed more transparency, speed and reliability in how information was delivered. Data was scattered across different systems and was mostly requested by email and phone. It then had to be collected and shared manually. That made the process time-intensive and dependent on individual knowledge and availability.
Those manual steps caused process delays, created interpretation differences, and let duplicate entry creep into the work. As the organisation grew, it became increasingly clear that data needed to be put to better use not just internally, but also made accessible externally. The step from scattered to central became unavoidable.
