The forerunner of Business Central
Microsoft Dynamics NAV, originally known as Navision, is an ERP package for SMEs that handles what you expect from an ERP: finance, stock, sales and purchasing. It is the direct predecessor of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Many companies still run on a NAV version. Microsoft is pushing for a switch to Business Central in the cloud, but in the meantime NAV environments remain in production.
